We departed the pier for about 20 minutes to accommodate at the Jungle Raft Resort in the dark. There was no electric light, no TV, no phone signal but the pure wisper of the jungle atmosphere. This resort divides into 2 wings: north and south, 111 rooms and always fully booked all year round.
Their staffs are mostly "Mon", the ethnic group in Burma, whose village is situated just 5 minutes walk at the back of the resort. They can speak English well because most of the guests are foreigners.
